Scott Snyder
Boys Soccer Head of Program
A native of Oak Ridge, TN, Coach Scott Snyder brings over 33 years of coaching experience and a successful playing background to Westminster. A former 1st Team All-State player at Oak Ridge High and four-year starter at Maryville College, Snyder also played professionally with the Knoxville Impact and Chattanooga Express.
Now in his 27th year at Westminster (33rd overall), Snyder has led teams to 13 state championships, 26 state tournament appearances, and 18 national top-25 rankings. His career high school coaching record is 453-146-69 (379-118-53 at Westminster), with dozens of All-State, All-Region, and All-American players developed under his guidance.
He holds a USSF "B" License, NSCAA National and Advanced National Diplomas, and a BFUT "D" License. Snyder also serves as the state chair for United Soccer Coaches All-South/All-America Awards and directs Snyder Championship Soccer Camps each summer.
