Athletics Facilities Manager

Mike Patrick joined the Westminster Athletics Department in Fall 2024 after spending eight years working in collegiate athletics with a focus on facilities and event management. He brings a wealth of experience overseeing athletic operations at both the institutional and conference levels.

Before arriving at Westminster, Mike served as the Director of Facilities Operations and Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Oglethorpe University. He also held roles as Assistant Athletic Director for Events and Marketing at Emory University and Assistant Athletic Director at Spring Hill College, where he managed game operations, facilities scheduling, security, and event staff for all home contests.

Mike’s leadership experience extends to the conference level as well, having served as Assistant Director of Championships for the Southern Athletic Association. In that role, he acted as liaison between the Commissioner and Athletic Directors of the eight-member schools, overseeing all championship operations for 21 sports.

At Westminster, Mike oversees daily facilities operations inside Turner Gymnasium and serves on both the Athletics Department Leadership Team and the school’s Facilities Leadership Team. His priority is ensuring that all Westminster Athletics facilities remain safe, first-class, and ready for practice and competition each day.
