Brooks Batcheller
Head of Program, Girls Lacrosse | Dean of Students

Brooks Batcheller was named Westminster's Head of Program for Girls Lacrosse in June 2026 after serving as the program's assistant coach for 18 seasons. Since joining the Wildcats in 2008, Brooks has helped establish Westminster as one of Georgia's premier girls lacrosse programs, contributing to four GHSA State Championships, seven State Championship appearances, and earning Georgia State Assistant Coach of the Year honors four times. With more than 20 years of varsity coaching experience, Brooks is committed to developing student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.

A former club lacrosse player at Washington and Lee University, Brooks began his coaching career at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Va.) before coaching Bloomington Lacrosse (Ind.) and eventually joining Westminster in 2008. Beyond the school setting, he has coached with Thunder Lacrosse and currently coaches with Surge Select Lacrosse while serving on the Surge Lacrosse Board. In 2013, he was selected to coach Team Georgia at the USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament. Outside of athletics, Brooks has served as Westminster's Dean of Students since 2017 and has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to the school community through multiple teaching and service awards.
