Emily Fuqua ’13
Girls Cross Country Head of Program

Emily Fuqua stepped into the role of Girls Cross Country Head of Program at the start of the 2023 season, following one year as an assistant coach under long-time leader Amy Eubanks. A Westminster alumna, Emily competed for the Wildcats in cross country from 2009–2012, helping lead the program to three consecutive GHSA State Championships (2009, 2010, 2011) during her high school career.

After earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and becoming a Certified Public Accountant, Emily worked in the corporate accounting field before returning to education as a geometry teacher at Atlanta Classical Academy. She rejoined the Westminster community in 2022 as a middle school math teacher and assistant coach, taking over the cross country program upon Eubanks’ retirement. Emily recently lead our girls to the 2025 GHSA 4A Girls Cross Country State Championship.
